Woolwich Ferry
Woolwich Ferry
G&P Engineering was contracted to the multi-million pound task to refurbish the link-spans on the Woolwich Ferry. The free vehicle ferry service, which is licensed and financed by the maritime arm of Transport for London, crosses the River Thames between Greenwich and Newham. It also links the two ends of the inner London orbital road routes; the North Circular and the South Circular. As such the key driver of the project is meeting the exacting programme without disruptions to the service.
